My Girl Laura (and G's one-year photo shoot!)

Have I ever told you the story of my friend Laura and me? My mom taught at her grade school and I got to know lots of the students there. Laura and I hit it off immediately. We knew right away we were kindred spirits. We had lots in common, including our taste in guys.

We double-dated to a school dance....

(We know, our eyebrows are the epitome of hotness)

...and then just switched dates for the next dance. Didn't think a thing of it.

Sadly, we lost touch in late high school.

Fast forward a few years after B and I had gotten married. One of his best friends, Joe, had been telling B about his new girlfriend. We kept missing opportunities to meet this amazing chick, until one day, at Wal-Mart, we finally ran into them together.

*cue "Reunited and It Feels So Good" music*

...and lo and behold, Joe's girlfriend....was Laura! Laura and I started jumping up and down and hugging each other, and our guys were looking at us, wide-eyed, and looking at each other, completely confused.

We were happy to discover that we were still soul sisters and I haven't let her out of my sight since. We have so much in common, from our viewpoints on food to our crushes on Jon Stewart and Olivia Wilde. She is an amazing friend...one of those girls who will do anything for her friends and goes above and beyond on a regular basis. This girl doesn't disappoint.

Yesterday was no exception. She's a new photographer and she took G's one-year photos.

You want to see them, right?

Well, you're in luck. Laura posted a few on her blog and hold on to your hat, because you are about to get a huge dose of cuteness.....

Go here to check them out. Leave her some love...she deserves it!
